Wayne Brady Headlines NZ Comedy Festival

Emmy Award Winning US Comedian Wayne Brady is all set to turn down under upside down at this years Kiwi Comedy Festival. The show which gets underway from May 1st has once again managed to attract some of the biggest names in the business to these shores to shows in Auckland and Wellington - and some of them are returning after sell out shows in previous years.
Brady will be hosting the Crunchie Comedy Gala (TV2), Dylan Moran (the star of TV’s Black Books), UK comedian Steve Coogan (aka Alan Partridge), Irish comedian Ed Byrne and Scotland’s Danny Bhoy.
Also returning to the Festival are Dai Henwood, Ben Hurley, Brendhan Lovegrove and Jeremy Corbett. Comedy Divas, Class Comedians, Crunchie Comedy Convoy, Late Laughs and the Nickelodeon Kids Comedy Season all will appear.
Whilst the main festival will be in Wellington and Auckland, the Cadbury Crunchie Comedy Convoy is moving through Tauranga, Napier, Palmerston North and New Plymouth before crossing the Cook Strait to tour Nelson, Blenheim, Christchurch, Invercargill and Queenstown.
The NZ International Comedy Festival takes place in Auckland between the 1st May 24th May, Wellington May 3 to 23rd May and The Cadbury Crunchie Comedy Convoy hits the road from the 19th May to 30th May.

Thanks for this! It’s always been a favourite of mine.
I love this ad! It is made of win!
oh yeah definitely one of the best
good old crunchie bar
This alone makes the all the R&D that produced the internet worthwhile. Excellent.
Forgot to ask. How did you get it?
Fantastic. The actors involved brought a lawsuit against cadbury, as the ad was still being used 25 years after it was shot and they wanted their residuals. An embargo was placed on the ad and there is no chance that we’ll ever see it on tv again. It’s wonderful to be able to see it here. My covers band has learned the song, it never fails to get the crowd going:-)
I forgot all about this! brings back memories!
I sooooo remember this one…OMG!!!…i had forgotten it till now!…thank u!
I remember TV would rarely show the long version, it was always the short one except for when they had enough time to air it I guess.Do you have the Pixie Caramel ad where the Mexican firing squad all fall asleep because the prisoner takes too long eating his bar and subsequently escapes?
I love this ad. But this is not the long one. The long one is about 3-4 min long. Do you know where you can get this from. I would love to see the full version again.
Ah, I missed this actually. Always love comedy festivals, I remember spending alot of money trying to catch the big acts while I was in Melbourne during their Comedy Fest.
