Forget Tesla Ultimate Sportscar is Electric Porsche 356

Jack Rickard has created what arguably is a more beautiful electric sports car than the press darling, the Tesla. This is a Beck 356 Speedster (replica Porsche 356) mated to a Netgain Warp 9 DC series electric motor.
On Jack’s website (http://www.evtv.me) is an incredibly detailed discussion on electric car conversion including the first project, the Beck Speedster and a second more comprehensive project, a 2009 Mini Clubman Sport.

Those price-competitive electric cars will come, in due course. But today’s college students will likely be returning for their 10th or 15th class reunions. Like all revolutions in technology, this stuff will take awhile. The Tesla is a very, very early example.

Its good people are designing electric cars to be cool not just planet savers. This is the future so more companies should get together and make the future not working on prototypes on their own. The electric grid in the UK was the same untill 1 man banged everybodys head together and made everybody use the same universal electric currents and adaptors, untill then you couldn’t take your radio from manchester to london because it wouldn’t work down there. Stupid i know but we need this to happen with the electric car industry.

I think we still have to wait around 5 years or more before this electric cars will become low priced & marketable to compete with gas cars.
Yes the main problem with alternative energy sources is they are expensive. But now this type of alternative fuel sources are needed to reduce pollution level into the environment. We should shift towards renewable natural resource to save our earth and to bring sustainable development. Non renewable resource are main source of pollution and available in very less amount. Due to haphazard usage and over population they are being used very fast. On the other hand, pollution level increased very rapidly. Consequences are global warming and climate change. To reduce pollution we should use such kind of clean and green energy sources.
