Sgt Schultz The jolly jokers over at Tech Digest have blogged the “Top Ten Reasons to Love Zune“. Here is my response.

1) Everyone loves and underdog – yep but Microsoft is not an underdog. An underdog is Sandisk or Creative or even Sony, but Microsoft is no underdog, and Gates does not need anymore money even if he does give it away.

2) Mmmm..widescreen – Apple can respond to this issue anytime, they are probably waiting for the right moment, and trust me the floating click wheel thing will p** all over the ~~Toshiba Gigabeat~~ Zune player.

3) Microsoft is smart - yep I agree that MSFT is smart and execute well. But this market has many dynamics that

5) Its got wifi – just as music is about sharing, music is also a deeply personal thing. What you don’t realize is that you can move music between ipods, using Itunes. Also the reason that wifi is not in the ipod is because it is a battery sucking feature…

6) Worthiness – Okay Gates does hand out bucks to worthy causes, but Ballmer deserves nada, zip nill…..

7) Goblins – huhhhh ?

9) The Buttons look nice – As I stated earlier this looks like it was made by Mattel. I am waiting for the Barbie version loaded with free Ashley Simpson videos.

10) The FM Radio – Aside from the fact that the ipod does have the accessory, the FM radio is no big deal, the only time you need radio, is in the car and ….
