Okay I was mostly right on the TV thing. We saw new Nanos, very nice, a new cute shuffle, great for running and active use, and we saw iMovies turn up on iTunes.
I didn’t resist temptation and I did upgrade to iTune 7 as soon as it arrived. The process took about 10 mins including a reboot and an upgrade to Quicktime. The movies are all from Disney Labels, Pixlar, Disney, Miramax, and Touchstone. For my first experience I chose DeathRace 2000. This is shlock comedy from 1975 with David Carradine and Sylvester Stallone. The download was 915MB and took about 40mins. Not bad on my (alleged) 5MB cable modem. The iChat feature will be the next step. This will allow you to talk iChat throughout your house and with your friends who also have “iApple Homes”. More on the Apple iHome soon, and how to create a “slam dunk” in home entertainment.
