KiwiBloke has an new podcast called NorthVoice. The blog is on wordpress here. The podcast is on Libsyn here and will be available on Itunes soon.
Here is the blurb from Itunes:

NorthVoice the Weekly Independent Music Podcast for the Generation Xers. The music spans various music genres including pop rock to alternative to roots rock, electronica, americana, smooth jazz, new age, funk, hip hop and country. What we look for is independent music that stands out in that they have all the elements of a great composition, such as outstanding and brilliant melodies, poetic thoughtful lyrics, and excellent and intriguing productions. We then showcase these Independent Artists and promote their effort on the Voice of the North.

Norine Braun

Welcome to the NorthVoice Indie Podcast, the voice of the north, Podcast One – Everyday State of Madness. Today we have State of Everyday Madness (lost remix). This is a remix by shock shadow and it is available on CCMixta.

Norine Braun is a Vancouver based artist who is not afraid to make music on her own terms. She has been called “jazzed up, funk tinged pop.” That should tell you how her music defies conventional categorization.Built on a solid foundation of soul, Norine experiments with forms from ambient pop to jazz and rock. Braun herself is an interesting mixture of equal parts Blondie, Bjork and Margo Timmins. Today we play Frontliner Blues from the album “and the mood swings. Norine is courtesy of Magatune.

Submarine (featuring Lisa Rein) is the last song. Lisa is a singer/songwriter/musician/producer. She runs a record label at Wide Hive Records and have a podcast, ‘Songs From The Commons’ Lisa’s blog is OnLisareinsradar.com.. This is available on CCMixta.
