Readers digest droppedBlackberrycellphones around the cities in question and then ranked them based on the number returned. The reason that they used cellphones instead of say iPods is because they have information that can be used to return the device.

The most honest big city is Toronto with a population of about 2.5M. As you can imagine the Scandinavians are an honest bunch along with eastern Europeans and of course New Zealand. The big surprise is Mumbai which is a huge very busy city, still people had time to return cell phones so there you go.

Australians are less than honest but from a former penal colony what would you expect?.
