Vancouver, the Auckland of the North (: , has the Vancouver Sun and the Vancouver Sun has a lengthy article discussing how Kanucks can contemplate Kiwiland.

There are many things that count as luxurious. Caspian Sea caviar. High-thread-count sheets. Vintage Champagne. Gulfstream IV private jets. But the greatest luxury is that rarest of all things: time.

In New Zealand, though, time is in plentiful supply. There’s always time to savour a glass of wine, to enjoy a sail on Waitemata Harbour, to just be, and to do it amid some of the most beautiful scenery on Earth.

It has a good precise on various destinations where you can pamper yourself, however you can also enjoy it without spending large sums of money. After all, New Zealand is only one triple 777 ride from Vancouver to Auckland.
