Welsh Lass Duffy Visits New Zealand (Video)
Welsh siren Aimee Ann Duffy is currently on tour in New Zealand and speaks to the New Zealand Herald.
Her breakthrough song, Mercy has been claimed as the modern soul hit that has moved Amy Winehouse off stage.
Since her first album, Rockferry, was released early last year it has sold nearly six million copies world-wide (more than 50,000 in New Zealand alone).

I am an ardent fan of Ann Duffy. Ironically the first time I came to know about her was when she winning the grammy award in 2008. Honestly before that I never knew about her. But after that I cant remember a single day in my life ending without listening to “Warwick Avenue”

I am listening to Mercy daily. That song has become our family’s favorite number and we all listen to it together whenever we get a chance. I am just wondering how she was able to attract people from all age groups.
Hi, just to say congratulation to you guys for receiving the award of being one of the wonders of the world. Nice video also.

Nice video here. It reminded me of what I’ve read in an article. She once said inthat her interview. “I”ve never ever said this. I don”t know if I can!” she glees. “But it”s about a gorgeous guy that I met. He was a very sexual character and I was very tempted, but my morals got the better of me.”
Thanks for sharing.
